The client is the CEO and owner of Bazoki Shopping, Selling & Delivery Apps with a strong and defined presence in the online groceries, FMCG and related products in and around the city of Kolkata. Growing online buying of essential items by citizens demands a fully functional e-commerce app that is followed up by a smooth, efficient and transparent selling and delivery system apps. The client was clearly in need of 3 distinct yet related apps systems with data flowing smoothly flow into each other as needed by respective users. The app had to work across platforms and yet had to be developed within the limited budget for which the client approached Digital Aptech Private Limited whose experts suggested and developed a highly efficient Hybrid app.
With several big players already present in the metropolitan city of Kolkata, the client was in need of an extremely sauve and user-friendly app with complete data flow system for best results. The entire transaction process from order to delivery was to be digitized by way of the apps making the entire process transparent and trustworthy. The scope of work was defined into 3 distinct parts with individual user apps – for the buyer, the seller and the delivery person. Each app needed relevant sections with menus and sub-menus for the respective user.
Buyers being the primary target group, the aim of the project was to develop an app with an attractive and easy to use interface. Sellers too on their part needed an app with easy to access and modify admin panel letting them confirm orders as per availability and assign order to the delivery person. In the last leg of the order fulfillment process, the nearest delivery person would pick up the order, deliver to the address, receive payment if specified and ultimately deposit it to the seller while maintaining digital records.
Bazoki is the go-to app when it comes to smooth online ordering, quick and easy selling and fast delivery of products within the scheduled time.
Bazoki Customers can use the app for easy ordering and home delivery of groceries, FMCG products and a range of household items that they can add to the add choosing each product from individual categories. There is also the quick search option for those that want to add to cart products directly from the shopping list. Customers have to log in with their phone numbers, OTP and pincode from those that are listed with the service provider. Their orders will be confirmed by sellers listed within the mentioned pincode area and subsequently delivered by drivers operating in the same area. Order summary is saved to address corresponding to the same pincode and buyers can select delivery time option from the list provided and proceed to payment options. For customer convenience, prices of items are fixed by Bazoki so that no seller can overcharge them through the app. For buyer convenience, all types of payment options like app payment, wallet, UPI, debit and credit cards have been included apart from COD facility. All previous orders by the customer are clearly reflected in My Accounts of the app where they can also add and modify personal details and select Privacy settings.
Bazoki Shop Master is the seller end app that lets them accept orders within the designated pincode area. They can check availability of products ordered and modify list accordingly in case certain products are not with them at that time. They can also opt to block delivery timing from the admin panel as per shop operation timings to let customers know what time their products will be delivered.
Shop Masters also have the immense facility of borrowing from Bazoki by way of their virtual wallet that will be adjusted with the final bill. My Balance on the admin panel lets sellers request for payment and also get statement on registered email. Details of the seller including license details have to be uploaded on the Retailer category on the admin panel. Once the seller completes an order, she/he can directly assigns it to the driver app which is then picked up by the nearest drivers through the app showing the driver details.
Bazoki Delivery Partner connects the previous 2 part of the complete app system to accomplish the final delivery system. The app comes with provisions for drivers to upload mandatory credentials in the form of driver’s license and Adhar Card Number along with their vehicle number. Access to the app is through individual generated password letting them view the address to which the order has to be picked and delivered. All assigned pending orders are visible along with previous delivery history. Order details visible to them include time of order places, scheduled delivery time and COD amount. In case of pre-paid orders, amount due will reflect as zero.
The assigned delivery partner confirms acceptance, moves to pick order and proceeds to deliver to assigned address. Customer details along with phone number are provided for assistance in case there is difficulty in reaching the exact address. In case the order could not be delivered, the driver has options to pick the reason due to which delivery failed. Money that the driver collects from COD is also registered in the app as cash in hand and when handing over cash to the seller, it is recorded in the app digitally as part of delivery history. While transferring to Shop Master, driver gives her/him a unique code following which payment is confirmed virtual when driver hands over physical cash closing the order cycle.
